Doodles that started the project...

After meeting up with vicky we both decided that we would like to do an environmental piece, to show our modelling skills and texturing. The first idea was to have a camera pan up a tree where faries had made their home. There would be no animation, just flickers of light and fireflies. But we thought the textures would be really nice to draw for this one.

Before I knew I was working with Vicky, I drew this quick sketch for one of my ideas of following two talking carousel horses having a conversation about how traumatic some of their experiences have been whilst working on the carousel. I wanted a few gags in it, but wasn't sure of how to do it.
